The famous Horsehead Nebula and Flame Nebula are located right here in our very own Milky Way in the Orion Constellation. The distance from earth is approximately 1,500 light years. The "horse head" is a dense space dust cloud that is lit up from behind by the hydrogen rich, light emitting nebulosity. The Flame Nebula to the left is a light emitting nebulosity. Together, they form a spectacular image.
This beautiful image of the Horse Head and Flame Nebula is printed on 12" by 18" metal by a process called sublimating. The result is a vibrant, colorful picture that will last for generations. The print comes with a gallery mount attached to the back that makes hanging a breeze and suspends the print approximately 7/8" off the wall.
