Christmas never ends in the constellation of Monoceros. This region of space is rich is gas and dust which are the ingredients for creating new stars. The hot center of this beautiful nebula is the result of new stars that have emerged and burn hot and bright. At the far left end of the nebula is another unique object called the Cone Nebula. The combination of the star cluster, massive amounts of space dust, and the dense cone create an object that is both festive and shaped like a Christmas Tree. This is truly one of the most spectacular objects in the Milky Way Galaxy.
