Whirlpool Galaxy
Located 23,000,000 light years away from earth, in the constellation Canes Venatici, lies the incredibly beautiful Whirlpool Galaxy. The wistful, swirling arms are actually millions and millions of stars and swirling space dust. This is why it is called a spiral galaxy. The Whirlpool Galaxy is also merging with a smaller galaxy that is brushing up against it. The massive gravitational pull will eventually blend them together, and in the process, create even more stars.
This beautiful image of the Whirlpool Galaxy is printed on 12" by 18" metal by a process called sublimating. The result is a vibrant, colorful picture that will last for generations. The print comes with a gallery mount attached to the back that makes hanging a breeze and suspends the print approximately 7/8" off the wall.
